Extended Care Staff
This Extended Care (EC) position is a part-time position. The primary purpose of this position at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School is to supervise the activities of the extended care program that directly relate to the care and safety of the students as directed by the Extended Care Director. The principal is the direct supervisor.
EC positions must enjoy working with school-aged children in grades preschool through 8th grade. They are responsible for ensuring the safety of all children in the program, serving after-school snack, interact positively with children and their families, working independently as well as with a team, creating an enriching, fun space, assist with homework and maintaining a clean organized environment. The candidate must have a positive attitude and serve as a Christian role model to participants in the program. In addition, the ideal candidate should have excellent conflict resolution and communication skills, be patient and energetic. In addition, they should also be able to give and receive instruction, as well as work independently. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to work up to 10 – 20 hours a week in the afternoon, is creative, child-oriented, responsible, and dedicated.
